AIR COOLERS

HTE unit coolers are designed to cover all applications in refrigeration such as:

  • storage and preparation of fresh products
  • storage and preparation of the packaged products
  • frozen food storage and preparation
  • blast chilling and freezing of food.

The application of HTE units coolers allows you to store all kinds of perishable product, keeping it fresh and preserved for a long time even in places different from those of production, harvesting and processing, leaving unchanged the properties and qualities of the original of the product even after months.

The cold storage therefore requires a careful analysis of the various design parameters to select a suitable unit cooler appropriate for the different operating conditions: how to dispense the cold, the quantities and recirculation of air, the distribution and the method of storage, the temperature and humidity required for a good preservation of the food.

To assess the specific working conditions, HTE uses sophisticated CFD software simulation to choose the most appropriate unit cooler to use, by evaluating the correct distribution of air and its temperature and humidity conditions, taking into account the size of the cold store and its factors dispersion.

HTE unit coolers fully meet the requirements of the application and are designed basing upon a long experience in the industry, representing the state of the art. Our unit coolers distinguish themselves through construction quality, the attention to details and use of noble materials generously sized to withstand harsh environments without failure or degradation of efficiency.

HTE unit coolers are usable with the following refrigerants: CFC (R404, R507, R407C, etc.) but also with the more environmentally friendly NH3 (R717) and CO2 (R744).

The design standard of our unit coolers is unique in the industry and includes: stainless steel casing, copper tubes, oversized fins surface, low internal and external pressure drops, fouling factor calculated in order to reduce the defrosting cycles of the heat exchanger, external rotor fans with high efficiency according to Erp 2015 standard, resistant to low temperatures.

The heat exchangers with wide finned surface in Hyperfinn® execution, maintain high efficiency even with fins completely hoarfrost, limiting to a minimum the amount of defrost cycles.

For process rooms, ripening rooms or in dairy, meat of fish industry, or in presence of particularly aggressive, salty or corrosive atmospheres, in applications like in the tannery industry, where periodic sanitizing of the unit coolers is a must, we have special versions available, with the following constructive features:

  • aluminum fins coated with epoxy resin
  • copper fins
  • Tinned copper tubes and copper fins
  • fins treatments with blygold®, heresite® or electrophoresis
  • stainless steel tubes

HTE unit coolers are available with the following defrost modes:

  • air
  • electrical resistance
  • hot gas
  • water

ADVANTAGES UNIT COOLERS:

  • Heat exchangers with high efficiency
  • Reduced air dehumidification
  • Reduced formation of hoarfrost
  • High air throw
  • Reduced refrigerant volume
  • Low fan power consumption
  • Low electrical defrost power consumption
